Let's try to keep politics out of this. Let's forget that there's no context for anything presented. Let's ignore the jingoism. Don't notice the fact that Rick Perry is speaking in empty words. Certainly, set aside the notion that one man cannot be held responsible for the current political state and the fact that partisan politics have seemingly never been stronger.
